Not much going on.
I've been stabilizing my income more. I moved all my student loan payments to the same date per month so I don't have to make two payments to them, and I moved them to automatic debit so I can't forget and pay them late. Of course, it takes a couple of months for all that to kick in.
I have a big bill to pay off, and aside from that the saving for the car is on schedule. Well, as on schedule as it can be. I'm thinking more and more of actually waiting till January, so I can have more money towards the car. Of course, this is all contingent on my credit union not giving me the cold shoulder. In that case, I will just save up another 16 months and purchase the car outright. Lets hope that doesn't have to happen.
I got my tie rod ends replaced on my current car. I took it in thinking it was a problem with the right front control arm, but the mechanic said those looked fine, but the tie rods were really loose. It was about half the cost of replacing the control arm, so that's good. I would have done it myself, as with other car repairs, except I don't have a garage nor even a solid driveway to work on. I need a new set of tires and a 4-wheel alignment. I can get those done at the same time, and use mom's firestone discount to get some cheap labor. After that my car ought to be pretty good.
My phone battery has been dying very quickly now. I think it might be windows media eating through batteries quickly, so I've been doing some testing to see what's up. A friend is getting me a car charger at Best Buy. What a good friend.
