Markdown is a plugin for movable type that makes it slightly more bearable to use. It adds a new non-html syntax for editing entries.
It's a good idea, since HTML is a pain in the ass.
However, there's a couple of problems:
- The syntax is hard to remember.
- Markdown is no better than html for writing links compactly, and they're just as ugly, or worse.
So basically, Markdown makes it a little better, but not good enough for me to use permanently.
