Helped design, plan, implement, and test new and existing architecture and functionality to improve a robust and multi-featured stateful packet inspection and network monitoring appliance.
Proposed and implemented new features, redesigned existing codebase with an emphasis on user interaction, responsiveness, data integrity, and code reusability.
Initiated many technology improvements such as an extensible reporting interface, a consistent user-input and validation framework for development utilizing AJAX data validation built as PHP/Smarty plugins.

Developed cross platform tools to allow proactive reporting of some types of hardware errors on Windows, Macintosh, and Linux machines over a network to prevent data loss and hardware failure.
Worked with a small group of IT professionals to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of computer hardware and software systems for a 500-user office environment.
Created tools to migrate individual user accounts from an outdated Windows Domain to a newer Active Directory system that maintained users’ data and ease of use.
Integrated several well-known open source applications to work within a Microsoft Active Directory.
