Thirty Day Rule

This is the Thirty Day Rule:

If you want to make a non-essential purchase (in my case, a toy or a game or something), write it, the date, and the cost down where you can look at it daily. If after 30 days you still want it, go ahead. Otherwise, you just saved some money.
